Draft placeholder. This is a standard starting template, not reviewed by a solicitor. In particular, the refund/cancellation terms reflect a common approach to the UK's 14-day digital content cooling-off rules but should be confirmed against your actual policy and checked by a solicitor before you rely on it - getting this wrong has real consumer-protection consequences, not just a wording issue.

Terms & Conditions

1. What TeCombo is

TeCombo ("the Service") is provided by StanleyTech ("we", "us", "our"). It uses AI to provide feedback on martial arts technique from photos you submit. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Important - please read. TeCombo provides AI-generated feedback for informational and training purposes only. It is not a substitute for instruction from a qualified coach or instructor, and it does not assess your physical fitness, injury risk, or readiness to train. Martial arts training carries an inherent risk of injury. You are solely responsible for training within your own physical limits, warming up appropriately, and stopping if something feels wrong. If in doubt, consult a qualified instructor or medical professional before attempting any technique.

2. Accounts

You sign in using a one-time link sent to your email - there's no password. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in as you. Each account supports one active sign-in at a time; signing in on a new device will sign you out elsewhere.

3. Plans, credits, and payment

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

4. Right to cancel and refunds

Under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because evaluation credits and Train access are used immediately upon purchase (each purchase gives you immediate, usable access), by completing a purchase you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access to digital content and expressly agree to waive your statutory 14-day cancellation right once you begin using the credits or subscription you've purchased. [CONFIRM THIS REFLECTS YOUR ACTUAL POLICY AND HAS BEEN CHECKED AGAINST CURRENT CONSUMER LAW.] Where required by law, or at our discretion, we may still offer a refund on a case-by-case basis - contact terms@stanleytech.co.uk.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". AI-generated feedback may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances - it is not professional coaching advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StanleyTech is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, feedback provided by the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation would be unlawful.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, including the acceptable use section above.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
